Lessons will resume P2. Please could you let any students who are with us for pathway C (Welsh especially) that this is what will be happening.
The same will also be true for Friday when we will have our Easter service P1&2. (I think it's pathway A then)

Guardsman Frost reporting for duty!
Ex student Ashley Frost recently dropped into Newport High to update us on his progress since he left us at Easter last year. He joined the army as a Welsh Guard, completing his basic infantry training in ITC Catterick which was 30 weeks long!
‘Training was very challenging at some parts I felt like leaving. On the 20th of December 2012 I passed out with my Platoon,’ Guards 20’. Then I joined my battalion The Welsh Guards, where  I was put into the Prince of Wales Company (known affectionately also as ‘The Jam Boys’). So far I have guarded the Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. On the 10th of March I am going skiing as part of my continued training - there are a lot of opportunities to be had in the Army. Next March I could be deployed to Afghanistan to complete a tour of duty which I will be very proud of. My duties will include patrolling, keeping the base clean and peace keeping’.
Ashley has promised to keep us updated on his progress and his experiences in the future, well done Ashley you’ve made us very proud.
